CLEMMIE AND SIMON HOOPER IN MADAGASCAR WITH WATERAID

Who better than Instagram superstars Clemmie and Simon Hooper (of mother- and father of daughters fame) to join Soaper Duper and WaterAid in Madagascar.

Something as simple as handwashing with soap can cut incidences of diarrhoea –which kills 315,000 children under five around the world each year- by almost 50%.  Madagascar is the fourth biggest island in the world, but almost half of Madagascans don’t have access to clean water (to wash their hands) and roughly nine in ten don’t have the ‘luxury’ of a toilet.

WaterAid has been working to transform lives in the world’s poorest communities by improving access to safe water, proper toilets and good hygiene. Since 1981, they have reached 23 million people with safe water and since 2004, 21 million people with sanitation.

Clemmie, Simon, and Bianca (PR Director) are visiting three communities (schools and health centres in particular) to see Soaper Duper’s partnership with Water Aid in action!
